Daily Devotional 5/24/26
Psalm 143:8 (NKJV): Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, for in You do I trust; cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to You.
The more I read the Bible, the more I realize that God is not distant from us. The more I read the Bible, the more I realize that God wants a close personal relationship with people. God does not want to stand off at a distance away from us. God wants to be right next to us as we go about our lives. When we wake for the day, God is there giving us the breath in our lungs. When we wake for the day, God is there showing us love. As we go about our day, God is there trying to direct our path. It is a path that we walk together with the LORD. God is there each and every day, all day long, reminding us that we are not alone. God is there each and every day, all day long, reminding us that we are wanted. God is there each and every day, all day long, reminding us that we are worthy of love and mercy. Today, may we allow ourselves to be in close relationship with the LORD as we go about our day and may we worship the God of our redemption.
