Daily Devotional 6/27/26

Matthew 11:28 (NKJV): Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

I have never met anyone that does not have to labor for something. I, also, have never met anyone that does not have some kind of burden they are caring. Life in this world is not easy. There are times that it seems like the world is trying to grind us down to nothing. The world at times will come at us fast and furious with troubles. Other times the world will let pressure build up slowly until it is not bearable. Simply put, life is not easy. In today’s verse, Jesus offers us an invitation. It is an invitation from love. It is an invitation with power behind it. It is an invitation that has no restrictions on it. Jesus invites to come and let Him be a part of our lives. Jesus invites to come and let Jesus give us power and strength. Jesus invites to come and let Him heal us and bring wholeness into our lives. It is a simple invitation. It is a constant invitation. Today, are we going to accept it?
